Industrial history reborn: reclaimed materials and daylight breathe new purpose into a creative studio.

Nestled on the third floor of a historic Saint Paul warehouse, D/O Architects' 4,500-square-foot office emerges from industrial simplicity. A new 70-foot skylight slices through the existing structure, flooding the space with natural light that animates a dynamically designed woodwall. Reclaimed white ash brings warmth and texture to the interior, while whitewashed structure and minimal glass detailing allow daylight to wash through every corner. Digital fabrication meets material history in this LEED Gold certified space—proof that bold intervention and material restraint can breathe new life into the overlooked.
